Project overview

NETPING is looking for one qualified Freelance Desktop Support EUC L1 engineer to provide dedicated onsite support in Wallisellen, Switzerland. The assignment starts on 30 September 2026 and is expected to continue for one year. Standard working hours are 08:00-17:00 during local business hours.

• Onsite end-user software support

• Deskside software support

• Device refresh and disposal

• Warehouse and technology support services

Service description

• Support customer-approved end-user devices, including desktops, laptops and printers.

• Provide priority assistance to VIP users when feasible.

• Provide IMACD and administrative support for End User Computing, print and file servers, IP telephony and video-conferencing systems.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors and OEMs for PCs, laptops and printers.

• Provide hands and feet support for audiovisual rooms in coordination with the collaboration team.

• Provide hands and feet support for IP telephony devices when required.

• Handle service requests, IMACDs and hardware break/fix for customer-provided end-user devices.

• Provide hands and feet support for server break/fix.

• Deliver end-user deskside support.

• Maintain SOPs and troubleshooting guides.

• Manage inventory for the client location.

• Perform installations, de-installations, cascades, moves, additions and changes for EUC equipment and software.

• Coordinate, plan and schedule IMACDs with all affected IT functions.

Mandatory skills

• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows, macOS and other authorised desktop software and applications.

• Good English and local-language communication.

• Customer-specific background verification may be required.
